HSE Officer

Job Description:

• Understand and effectively implement the organization's SHMS at site
• Plan, organize and manage HSE promotional activities within the site to cultivate good HSE practices
• Provide reasonably practicable and effective HSE recommendations to team members to ensure compliance to legal and other requirements
• Motivate, coach and counsel on HSE matter to site workforce on an on-going basis with particular regard for recalcitrant personnel
• Co-ordinate the work of team members, allocate tasks and provide effective supervision
• Lead the risk assessment team at site
• Participate as a risk management team member in the corporate RM organization
• Brief project manager/ project team periodically on the execution status of the overall safety program
• Carry out safety orientations and to conduct daily safety toolbox meeting (if required)
