HSSU Driver (Bank)

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad‑hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability. Our Hospital Sterile Services Unit (HSSU) transports sterile and disinfected surgical equipment to our local hospital network. If you have a full driving license with a C1 entitlement which allows you to drive rigid vehicles up to 7.5 tons Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) and hold a digital tachograph card, you could enjoy the benefits of joining the UK's largest Healthcare Charity. A full Driver Qualification card (CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) is advantageous but full training is available. As a Driver on our HSSU team, you're comfortable with manual handling and happy to move transport trolleys weighing upwards of 250kg.
