Summary This position is in the Washington Headquarters Services (WHS), Human Resources Directorate, Personnel Services Division (PSD). The PSD provides consolidated HR program functions, specialized technical assistance, common technical services, database administration for automation initiatives, and centralized processing for Department of War (DoW) agencies and offices in the National Capital Region (NCR) and their field activities. Responsibilities Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following: Offers advanced advice and interpretation on laws, regulations, and policies related to hiring, merit promotion, priority placement, reduction in force (RIF), and other staffing matters.
