The primary purpose of this position is to serve in the US Air Force's largest HV AC/Mechanical organizational group as a Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC)/Refrigeration and Control Systems Technician for the installation. Responsibilities - Troubleshoots HVAC/R systems with complex problems and extensive repairs requiring judgment to locate malfunctions. - Performs essential direct digital (DDC), electronic, pneumatic, electrical, and electromechanical control work incidental to the operation and maintenance of HVAC/R and building control systems. - Performs preventive maintenance on electronic control systems to include disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, and calibration. - Installs, modifies, overhauls, repairs, and maintains a variety of complex heating boilers and/or heating systems, single and multiple fuel power boilers, and associated ...
