Purpose of the job
Responsible for the Engen group companies’ Direct Tax compliance requirements in order to meet legislative requirements, thereby reducing the tax risk of penalties and interest charges for the company and the payment of excessive taxes
What You'll Be Doing
TAX ACCOUNTING
Calculate and report quarterly on current and deferred tax liabilities, by applying accounting principles together with tax legislation.Utilization of tax software for reporting purposes.Process tax entries on SAPPrepare reconciliations of the tax liability accountsPrepare current and deferred tax calculations for year-end purposesTAX AUDIT & CONTROLS
Review and validate data in the system to ensure compliance with legislative requirements through continuous analysis and audits of risk areas identified for all the Engen Group of companies and reporting to the business on any areas of non-complia...
