Support children’s oral health as a Dental Hygienist with Deer Lake First Nation, managing the COHI program's community-based initiatives. This role emphasizes preventive dental care and health education.
You will engage directly with First Nations communities, conducting screenings and applying preventive treatments. This position requires collaboration with local programs and training others in effective oral hygiene practices. Traveling to various community settings is essential to outreach efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct screenings to assess children's oral health
• Provide fluoride varnish and other preventive services
• Educate families on oral hygiene and nutrition
