Industrial Design Engineer I

**Position Summary**

Provides conceptual design for specific projects and performs calculations, drawings and specifications relevant to HVAC, plumbing or other systems.

**Position Details**

+ Assists higher-level engineers in design tasks
+ Performs basic calculations, drawings and specifications related to HVAC, plumbing, fire protection or other systems
+ Performs basic calculations for a project, such as heating/cooling loads, equipment selection and sizing, friction loss calculations, hydraulic calculations, etc.

**Qualifications**

+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
+ PE license preferred
+ Entry-level role
+ Basic Knowledge of applicable systems design, such as fire suppression, HVAC, plumbing, etc.
+ Ability to read basic mechanical and plumbing plans.
+ Good verbal and written communication skills
+ Good computer skills, including CADD and Microsoft Office Products, including Excel
