Opportunity Description
A comprehensive, integrated health care system in Connecticut is adding Infectious Disease Physicians in our western Connecticut location. We are Connecticut's largest health system with 4,000 providers and a network of 7 hospitals with more than 300 office locations.
About the Opportunity:
- 100% Infectious Disease. No primary care
- System-wide collaboration with over 20 Infectious Disease Physicians
- Shared call with other ID physicians
- Inpatient consultations and outpatient office, including outpatient HIV and Hepatitis C patient treatment
- Assist with the Antimicrobial Stewardship program and with activities of infection control and the hospital epidemiology programs
- Appointment at the Assistant Professor level for post-graduate medical education for residents as well as medical students
