INFORMATION SECURITY SPECIALIST

Summary You will serve as an INFORMATION SECURITY SPECIALIST within the NAVAL HISTORY AND HERITAGE COMMAND. Responsibilities You will review, analyze, and resolve difficult and complex security problems, provide guidance to leadership, and act as the program lead to provide day-to-day management of special security program. You will administer the Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security program to include coordinating SCI security oversight for other SCIFs or electronic records management systems used to hold SCI-level permanent historical records. You will properly account for, control, transmit, transport, package, and safeguard SCI. You will report and investigate all unauthorized disclosures of classified intelligence information in accordance with DOD Manual 5105.21 and any other relevant DOD policy and guidance directives, instructions, and manuals.
