Project
You will have the chance to conduct research in the broad domain of business law, preferably with a focus on
insolvency law in the broad sense (enforcement, security interests, guarantees, bankruptcy, reorganisation);legal aspects of corporate finance; or economic analysis of law. Within a four-year period, you are expected to complete a PhD thesis under the supervision of Prof. Joeri Vananroye. The precise topic of the PhD will be determined in consultation with the supervisor. Additionally, you will offer limited teaching support in the context of Prof. Vananroyes courses. The estimated share of educational support duties in the total workload is 10%. The concrete starting date can be determined in consultation with the supervisor.
