Job Summary:
The incumbent instructs aquatic programming to a diverse range of participants. Aspects of this role include preparation for instruction, delivery, evaluation, feedback, and assessment of skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides aquatic instruction for patrons; monitors activities being taught and ensures the quality of the programming meets standards Prepares and implements lesson plans, instructional material, and provides technical guidance for age appropriate and skill-focused lessons based on participant abilities; prepares and distributes candidate progress reports, and prepares and submits statistical reports/records. Depending on experience may mentor lesson volunteers assigned to their programs.
