Opportunity Description

Barnardo's Isle of Wight 0-19 Early Help/Family Hub's are seeking to appoint an intensive Family Support Worker (project worker 2) who will join a team of Intensive Family Support workers delivering family support to families across the Island.


The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience working with children and families.

  • Educated to an NVQ level 3 equivalent in education, childcare health or social care

  • Experience of safeguarding and Early Help

  • Ability to work independently and manage their own caseload

  • Experience of delivering evidence based interventions (desirable)

  • Experience of working with children/families who are in need of support

    • Above all they will be passionate about improving the life chances of children and families.
