Permanent full‑time Intensivist or Intensivist/Anaesthetist opportunity in Health New Zealand, Te Whatu Ora, Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty. Based in Tauranga with additional support provision to Whakatāne Hospital.
About the Team/Service/Location
Part of a growing department with nine Registrars, delivering intensive care services across the Bay of Plenty. The Level2 ICU provides general intensive care to adults, including complex multi‑system life support, mechanical ventilation, renal replacement therapy, and invasive cardiovascular monitoring. We also manage critically ill children alongside paediatricians until tertiary paediatric care is required.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high standard general intensive care to adults and children.
