Summary The Division of Agricultural Select Agents and Toxins (DASAT) Biological Scientist / Veterinary Medical Officer provides regulatory oversight and subject matter expertise on the possession, use and transfer of biological select agents and toxins, which have the potential to pose a severe threat to public, animal or plant health or to animal or plant products. Responsibilities The duties described are for the full-performance level. At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity. The duties may include, but are not limited to: Provides subject matter expertise and guidance to evaluate and analyze information relating the possession, use, and transfer of select agents by entities.
