Interim Head of Communications

A leading media company and high profile brand needs to recruit an Interim Head of Communications to provide maternity cover support for 12 months. 

Reporting to the Executive Director, the role is responsible for overseeing all external communications regarding the company's digital, commercial, marketing, brand and corporate operations activity. Working closely with the Senior Management Executive Team, the role will also work closely with other key internal business leads and will be responsible for building a small in-house team to support wider business growth strategy. 

Key responsibilities include:

- Oversee all editorial, commercial, brand digital and marketing communications. 
- Develop and deliver a proactive brand communications plan.
- Support on reputational management and crisis communications. 
- Lead all PR engagement across online, broadcast and traditional media outlets, UK and some international.
