Intermediate Accountant

About us:

We're a growing Australian public practice firm looking for a detail-oriented Intermediate Accountant based in the Philippines to join our remote team on a permanent basis.

You'll work under the guidance of our Senior Accountant and Production Manager, handling a varied portfolio of client work across tax, compliance, and financial reporting.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Prepare financial statements in accordance with Australian accounting standards
• Prepare income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships, and SMSFs using Xero Tax
• Process and reconcile SMSF data in BGL360, preparing workpapers and reports for external audit
• Prepare BAS, year-end financials, and support general compliance work
• Assist with Estate Tax Return preparation
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Stay current with Australian tax legislation and accounting standards
