About the team you are joining
The Advocacy and Industry Regulation (AIR) Workstream is one of two legal workstreams within the Legal (LSCS-LEGAL) department. It provides legal support for IATA’s advocacy activities on behalf of its member airlines and manages secretariat support for the Legal Advisory Council and related working groups, including those focused on litigation and privacy.
Responsibilities
As a Legal Intern, you will work under the supervision of Senior Legal Counsel within the AIR Workstream and collaborate closely with lawyers across the team. Your work will primarily involve conducting legal research across multiple jurisdictions on a broad range of civil aviation issues. You will also:
- Prepare summaries of legal cases, legislative developments, and regulatory updates
- Contribute to maintaining and updating internal legal databases...
