Position Overview

Come work as a General Practitioner Oncologist with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH).

Squamish General Hospital is looking for a dedicated part‑time (0.50 FTE) GP‑Oncologist to join our collaborative team. While the role is currently a 0.2 FTE (approximately 12 hours per week for 26 weeks per year), we expect it to grow as we expand our clinic’s treatment capacity.

Responsibilities

As a member of our team, you’ll work closely with medical oncologists, other specialists, nurses, and clerical staff. Your responsibilities will include ambulatory care for patients undergoing therapy and those in follow‑up, as well as supporting inpatient care. This involves reviewing and writing chemotherapy orders and managing patients with adverse reactions or treatment‑related side effects.
