Opportunity Description
Medrina is a large, physician-owned practice that has been a national group for over 15 years. We are currently looking to add a Nurse Practitioner (NP), with experience in an inpatient setting, to the team in our West Palm Beach, FL market!
Primary Responsibilities:
- New admissions
- Cross-coverage of existing hospitalist patients
- Rapid responses and urgent clinical evaluations as appropriate
- Supporting nursing staff and hospital operations during evening hours
- Assisting with patient throughput and admission efficiency
- Coordination with the overnight physician team
Required Qualifications:
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in Florida
- Active DEA license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as an APP in an inpatient setting (internal medicine, inpatient hospitalist)
- Experience managing adult/geriatric patient populations
