Role and Facility Information
Peace Arch Hospital (PAH) is a community hospital in the Fraser Health Authority (FHA) region - 169 acute care beds, ICU/CCU 8 beds, closed unit (Internal Medicine). Level 3 PFT lab. No formal on call responsibilities; provide respiratory consultation to the hospital for in- and outpatients. Bronchoscopy, but no EBUS availability at our site. Thoracic surgery is at Surrey Memorial Hospital. There is also a BC Cancer Agency site, Fraser Valley Cancer Centre, adjacent to Surrey Memorial Hospital. Sessional TB clinic work is also available at the New Westminster TB clinic, under the auspices of the Division of TB Control, BCCDC.
