John Abbott College is hiring an Inuktitut instructor for Fall 2026 as part of the NUNAVIK SIVUNITSAVUT program. Prospective teachers passionate about Indigenous education are welcomed.
The CENTRE FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION invites applications for teaching Inuktitut I to Inuit students. Candidates must hold a relevant qualification and possess extensive teaching experience in culturally rich environments. Understanding of Inuit heritage and culturally relevant pedagogy is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Inuktitut language classes
• Foster knowledge of Inuit culture and history
• Apply culturally appropriate pedagogical approaches

• High School Diploma with 7-9 years related experience
