Opportunity Description
Our client is looking for an Assistant to the Sales and Operations Manager with a focus on stock control forecasting and planning.
Main responsibilities:
Be the link between Sales and Operations Department to ensure that requirements are managed between the two departments.
Maintain and update Inventory Forecasting (stock needed for sales).
Perpetually check low stock levels to arrange for orders to be brought forward (from Suppliers).
Perpetually check overstocks on system to send reports out to Sales Manager to assist in selling stock.
Order stock at the right price to arrive at the right time.
Follow up on orders from suppliers.
Generate monthly stock reports for Branch Management.
Skills and Knowledge:
At least 3 years stock ordering / stock management experience (on system, not physical stock management in warehouse).
