Inventory Planner

Overview

The Inventory Planner will own the inventory flow from distribution centers to stores across multiple categories. The role partners cross‑functionally to review forecasts, manage allocations, develop tiering recommendations, and provide season‑prep and in‑season insights to improve business results.

Responsibilities

• Analyze pre‑season plans and merchandising strategies to identify significant changes versus the previous year.
• Rationalize top‑line buy strategies and translate style, color, and plan details into store‑level allocation plans.
• Adjust and reconcile weekly planned inventory positions based on sales, inventory, price action, and trend data.
• Identify and review inventory exceptions and program forecasts, conducting root‑cause analysis.
