About The Role The Counter Fraud and Enforcement Unit are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the successful shared service. About the role This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference to the lives of tenants living in private rented housing. The successful applicant will join the Counter Fraud and Enforcement Unit (CFEU) which works across Gloucestershire Local Authorities. The CFEU provides services to several councils in relation to fraud risk, investigation and criminal enforcement. The Investigation and Enforcement Officers within the team assist the regulatory teams in investigation and prosecutions of offences within the councils jurisdiction. This role will have a specific focus on assessing and investigating potential breaches and offences by landlords in relation to private rented accommodation legislation under the Renters Rights Act 2025, using enhanced powers to deal with illegal eviction and harassment, rental bidding, discrimination in renting, tenancy...
