Investment Analyst

Location: Montreal, Full time in office

Valnet is seeking a highly analytical and driven Investment Analyst to help run the acquisition lifecycle and to manage our internal investments.

The ideal candidate must possess excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills and the desire to work in a fast‑paced environment. This person will report directly to the Chief Investment Officer and will work closely with our Brands and the rest of the leadership team in regards to future and potential acquisitions.

Responsibilities

• Co‑lead the entire acquisition lifecycle: sound knowledge of the competitive landscape, sourcing, pipeline growth, capital deployment, valuation, negotiating, due diligence assisting counsel with purchase agreement drafting, integration/management (operations): with the ultimate objective of driving results in line with IRR expectations.
