Irrigation Maintenance Pipefitter

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair leaks, breaks, and blockages in main irrigation lines and distribution networks.
• Install, maintain, and replace PVC, HDPE, and metal piping systems, including fittings, valves, and hydrants, adhering to strict engineering specifications.
• Perform regular inspections of pumps, filters, and control systems, identifying and addressing potential issues before they impact irrigation efficiency.
• Operate and maintain specialized equipment such as pipe cutters, fusion welders, and trenchers safely and effectively.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to accurately plan and execute pipefitting tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; vocational training in plumbing or pipefitting is a significant advantage.
