IT Specialist (INFOSEC)

Summary You will serve as an Information Technology (IT) Specialist (INFOSEC) at the GG-13 level installing, configuring, administering, maintaining, and tuning a multitude of cyber protective tools. This position is located in Suitland, MD at HOPPER GLOBAL COMMUNICATIONS CENTER. Responsibilities You will install, configure, administer, maintain, and tune a multitude of cyber protective tools. You will create content, correlate events and mine data, through either creating custom scripts or utilizing GUI interfaces, for overlooked attack vectors/unknown vulnerabilities. You will perform digital forensics to uncover violations of security and/or applicable policies. You will lead project management efforts by working with other departments and external companies to shepherd procurement. You will perform the proper planning, design/development, integration/testing, installation, and documentation of new or replacement cyber security solutions.
