ITINERANT ART TEACHER

DUTIES: Teacher will be responsible for providing instruction in Visual Arts courses at the
secondary level. Work will be performed under the general supervision of the building principal and
RSS Director. The initial placement for the 26-27 school year will be at Newfield Central School
District, though work location may change based on district requests and business needs.

The successful candidate will:

• Provide engaging and culturally responsive learning experiences to all learners;
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop standards-aligned curriculum and individualized pathways;
• Proactively manage the classroom environment;
• Participate in department meetings and professional development opportunities;
• Budget for course materials;
• Perform other duties as required.
