Job Summary:
The Custodian is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in all facilities, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for staff, visitors, and guests. Primary responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing various areas, handling maintenance requests, and assisting with furniture setup and teardown for events. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of the organization’s buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sweep, mop, and scrub floors, stairs, and other surfaces inside and outside of all buildings.
- Scrub, strip, wax, and polish floors using heavy industrial-type floor machines.
- Vacuum carpets in offices, classrooms, halls, and public areas; shampoo carpets using extraction machines and other carpet cleaning equipment.
