The 2nd Pressman-2nd shift will be responsible for the safe operation of the assigned printing press in the daily functions of press operation and press room procedures. This position reports directly to the press room shift supervisor.
What you’ll do as a 2nd Pressman :
+ Follows instructions from job ticket and sets up and directs set up of press according to Press Operator.
+ Maintains and strives for efficient production, meeting company production goals and standards.
+ Assists in staging materials needed and organizing them for production of each job. Maintains communication with press operator regarding stock levels and materials in advance so as not to experience any downtime.
