The media manger needs to be able to ingest all forms of media received from photographers and producers into the server/projects. (Cards, discs, hard drives, etc.)
Attention to detail is essential here as producers and editors are counting on the media manger to load media into the project in an organized and uniform manner and many times they need it immediately.
