UC Health is hiring a full-time Access Representative for the Admitting & Registration department for the second shift at UC Medical Center.
The Access Representative will support the Medical Centers and deliver high-quality care to patients based on assessed needs, established standards of care and according to policy and procedures.
Hospital registration involves arriving patients into the Emergency Department (ED) and Trauma Bay. This process includes accurately verifying each patient's identity, gathering demographic and contact information, setting up accident claims, obtaining signatures on hospital documents and including consent forms and financial responsibility, collecting copays, scanning patient documents, completing registration work queues, and verifying insurance details.
