Accountant (9-month contract)

As an Accountant, you will participate in month‑end and year‑end accounting activities and ensure the accuracy of financial information in accordance with US GAAP and Spanish GAAP. You will meet demanding deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review monthly balance sheet and prepare quarterly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Calculate and post accruals and prepayments.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for Corporate.
• Prepare annual statutory accounts.
• Fulfil and submit tax forms (VAT, Intrastat, Income taxes).
• Coordinate external auditors.
• Prepare inter‑company transaction details annually.
• Respond to specific requests from local tax authorities.
• Coordinate with shared service centers.
• Participate in finance projects in the Iberia region (LEI, ERPS, etc.).
• Participate in the planning process.
