Accountant

We are currently looking for an Accountant to join our team in Barcelona, Spain. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact within a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Executing month‑end closing activities in SAP system according to the internal closing schedule and in line with IFRS and internal accounting guidelines.
• Undertaking system corrections, investigating, and analysing major costs and yield variances.
• Reviewing and analysing the Plant and Regional SG&A fixed costs on a monthly basis.
• Posting month‑end journal entries such as accruals journals, re‑class journals, revenue recognition related accruals (e.g., shipped not billed, contract related, deferred billing), payroll, and other standard entries.
• Documenting all supporting documentation related to month‑end closings.
• Preparing reports to comply with local country requirements such as financial statistical information.
