Accountant

Description We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join a growing team in Ohio in a contract capacity with the potential for a long-term opportunity. This position is well suited for a detail-oriented accounting specialist who can manage day-to-day financial activity while supporting accurate reporting and strong internal controls. The ideal candidate brings a solid background in construction accounting and is comfortable working across payables, receivables, reconciliations, and general ledger functions.

Responsibilities:
• Manage full-cycle accounting activities, including processing vendor invoices, recording customer payments, and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Prepare and post journal entries while ensuring the general ledger remains complete, organized, and up to date.
• Reconcile bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts on a regular basis to support financial accuracy.
