Duties and Responsibilities
- Reconcile all bank accounts between our systems and the bank statement
- Responsible for the general ledger
- Bookkeeping to trail balance
- Ensure sound integration from the retail system to Sage Evolution
- Process information that does not integrate from the retail system (Arch) in Sage Evolution
- Leave cover rotation of duties within the group finance department
- Support for auditors with respect to VAT/ PAYE Payroll entries
- Annual audit preparation and support
- Oversee cash office change orders and float counts
- Review supplier payment reconciliations
- Key focus areas:
- Appropriate control over bank and cash reconciliations
- Book keeping to trail balance
