Opportunity Description
We are looking for a staff accountant who will be responsible for supporting accurate and timely accounting and financial reporting across healthcare corporate, facility, and property entities. This role assists with monthly close, general ledger maintenance, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial analysis. The Staff Accountant works closely with AR, AP, Payroll, facility leadership, and senior finance leadership to ensure financial integrity, compliance, and consistency across all entities.
Duties And Responsibilities
Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations for all accounts, such as cash, intercompany, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, payroll liabilities, insurance, and other accruals
- Investigate and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner with proper documentation
- Maintain supporting schedules and workpapers for audit and management review
