Opportunity Description
The Accounting Supervisor will oversee daily accounting operations, ensure the accuracy and timeliness of month-end closing activities, and maintain compliance with local tax regulations. This role is hands-on — preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, assisting in management reporting, and supervising staff for process efficiency and accuracy. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong technical accounting knowledge, tax compliance experience, and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
Month-End Closing
- Prepare and review journal entries for accruals, prepayments, and other adjusting entries.
- Perform account reconciliations and ensure supporting schedules are accurate and complete.
- Analyze monthly variances and ensure all income, expense, and balance sheet accounts are properly accounted for.
- Coordinate with branch accountants and other departments to ensure timely submission of entries.
