Accounting Specialist

Description We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to join a manufacturing operation in New York. This position is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in day-to-day transactional accounting who is ready to expand into broader month-end and reporting responsibilities. The role supports core financial activities, helps maintain accurate records across the business, and partners with leadership to keep accounting processes organized and dependable.

Responsibilities:
• Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including reviewing invoices, entering transactions, and preparing timely payments.
• Record financial activity in the general ledger and prepare journal entries to support accurate month-end reporting.
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure the integrity of financial records.
