Accounting Specialist

S/he shall manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department. S/he is expected to set up internal controls in the department. S/he shall monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements. S/he must establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles. S/he shall coordinate and complete annual audits. S/he is also expected to make recommendations andimprove the system and procedures, likewise, initiate corrective actions. S/he is expected to meet financial accounting objectives. S/he shall also establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions. S/he is expected to efficiently handle taxation management and reconciliation of banks. S/he shall resolve complex accounting issues or assists other Authority personnel in resolving financial issues.
