Opportunity Description
Accounts Payable Accountantis required for a multinational Transportation and supply Chain company located 6 October, Egypt.
Responsibilities:Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment. Prioritize invoices according to cash discount potential and payment terms. Process check requests. Match invoices to checks, obtain all signatures for checks and distribute checks accordingly. Respond to all vendor inquiries. Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies. Assist in the monthly closing. Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum 2 years in a similar AP role. Fluent in English is a must. Strong Microsoft Office skills; ERP and CMA are a plus.
