Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join an organization in San Diego, California on a contract basis with the potential for a permanent position. This role is well suited for someone who is highly organized, accurate, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with strict compliance standards. The position will support invoice processing, vendor coordination, payment activities, and records management while helping maintain strong financial controls across contracts, grants, and funding sources.

• Examine, validate, and assign proper accounting codes to invoices in accordance with agency procedures and funding rules.
