We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join a team in California in a contract capacity. This onsite opportunity is suited for someone who can manage day-to-day payables activitys. The role will contribute to invoice processing, reconciliations, journal entry preparation, and financial reporting in a fast-paced accounting environment.
Responsibilities:
• Process vendor invoices, verify coding accuracy, and prepare payments in accordance with established deadlines and approval procedures.
• Maintain accounts payable records within accounting and ERP platforms, ensuring transactions are entered completely and correctly.
• Reconcile bank activity and vendor statements to identify discrepancies and resolve outstanding items promptly.
