**Job Summary and Responsibilities**
An Activity Assistant helps plan, coordinate, and execute engaging recreational and therapeutic programs. Encourage socialization, physical movement, and mental stimulation while ensuring a fun, safe, and supportive environment for all participants.
**Essential Key Job Responsibilities**
+ Program Execution: Lead and follow scheduled activities, such as games, exercises, crafts and discussions
+ Participant Engagement:Build rapport with participants, encourage involvement, and provide one-on-one companionship
+ Documentation: Keep attendance records (PCC software) and monitor participant progress/behavior, reporting any changes to nursing or administrative staff
+ Community Outreach: Collaborating with the community for events and assist in promoting events
+ Assist with set up and break down of events, holiday decor and parties
+ Executive daily rehab program with residents, when needed
