Light Technician - FOR EVENTS. Our company based in Sharjah is looking for an Event Lighting Technician.
Responsibilities
- Operate illumination devices such as lighting controls, dimmers and switches to produce different results.
- Calibrate light levels to guarantee appropriate illumination for various environments.
- Collaborate with production developers to prepare lighting for each scene.
- Install lighting fixtures in fixed areas (ceiling, walls) or relocate them as needed.
- Coordinate with other crew members (actors, contractors, directors).
- Set up and operate special lighting effects equipment such as spotlights, strobes, fog devices and colored gels.
- Observe the audience reaction to lighting and make changes as required.
