Whittier College invites applications for an adjunct faculty for Mathematics.

Exempt Status: Exempt (bi-weekly)

Hours: Monday – Friday, 19 hours per week

Full Time/Part Time status: Part-time

Semester: Fall 2026

Salary: $2,250 per credit


Reports to: Department Chair


Location/Department: Whittier College / Academic Affairs / Math

Responsibilities

Teach one or two lower division math classes in the areas of algebra, precalculus, or elementary statistics.


The teaching load for this position is 1 or 2 courses per semester, and/or 3-8 credits. The position entails offering core courses in the field of math.
