Adjunct, Sonography

Overview


Sonography Adjuncts will provide didactic instruction to students in Touro’s Medical Imaging Program.


Responsibilities


+ Teach courses within the Sonography curriculum that coordinates with clinical experience.

+ Develop course objectives, lesson plans, and curriculum.

+ Design, prepare, and develop teaching material that conforms to JRDMS curriculum.

+ Instruct and evaluate students and report progress.

+ Cooperate and participate in periodic review and revision of course material and program materials.

+ Maintain appropriate expertise and competencies through continuing professional development.


Qualifications


Education/ Experience

+ Graduate of a Sonography program with Bachelor’s degree required.

+ A minimum of 2 years clinical experience as a sonographer required.

+ Teaching experience preferred.
