An Administrative Assistant plays a key role in supporting the operations of an organization by performing a variety of office tasks and providing clerical support to staff or management.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees.
  • Answer, screen, and direct phone calls.
  • Manage office communications, including emails and mail distribution.
  • Maintain office filing systems and manage documents (digital and physical).
  • Organize and coordinate meetings, appointments, and events.
  • Schedule travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, and transportation.
  • Maintain and update calendars for executives or departments.
