Opportunity Description
The per diem Activities Assistant supports the Adult Day Center by helping plan and lead engaging programs that promote social, cognitive, and physical well-being for participants. This role assists with activity set-up, participation, and clean-up while ensuring a safe, supportive, hands-on peri care, and welcoming environment.
+ Principal Accountabilities:
Work with ADC team to ensure safety of clients, at all times.
+ Interact with clients in a professional and positive manner.
+ Treat clients with respect, kindness, patience; helping to maintain clients' dignity.
+ Assist clients who are unsteady with walking.
+ Able lift 5 to 10 pounds.
+ Provide hands-on assistance for clients, including personal care as needed.
