The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD, known as The HARRIS CENTER, is seeking an experienced Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team. Under the clinical supervision of an identified Primary Care Physician, and in collaboration with the Division Medical Director and CMO; the Family Nurse Practitioner is a nurse practitioner who specializes in family medicine. including prescriptive authority, preferably with a focus in family primary care planning, lifespan nursing theory and nursing care, advanced physical and health assessment, advanced pharmacology and pathophysiology, health promotion and disease prevention, disease management, nutrition, acute and chronic illness management. Specialties in cariology, diabetes/endocrinology, critical care, in primary care would be a plus.
